CTA 22 mm. Non-Extraction

Connecticut Intrusion Arch is ideal to correct deep bites providing a gentle but continuous force with it's shape memory and springback advantages. Its main function is to intrude the anteriors, while extruding the molars at the same time. The CTA performs as an intrusion arch but it can also be used for the correction of minor open “bytes”, incisor flaring, to reduce the large interlabial gaps and correction of an anterior occlusal cant. You can find the wide clinical applications of this wire in the December, 1998 issue of The Journal of Clinical Orthodontics.
